Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • ¾ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard

Optional

  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons Water to thin out sauce the
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar if the sauce is too sweet
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato Paste to boost tomato flavor

To Serve

  • 6 Hamburger Buns

Instructions

  • In a non-stick skillet, add the ground beef and cook, breaking the meat with a wooden spoon to ensure it's cooking on all sides. Brown the ground beef until the meat is not pink.
  • Stir in ketchup, mustard, and any optional seasoning.
  • Stir, and cook for 1-2 minutes until warm and fragrant. If too thick, add 1-2 tablespoons of water and cook until the sauce is sticky and shiny.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust it by adding any of the optional flavors listed.
  • Serve into slightly toasted hamburger buns.
