Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Oat Flour (note 1)
  • 3 tablespoons Quick Oats not old-fashioned, (note 2)
  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • ½ cup Milk of Choice (note 3)
  • 3 tablespoons Mashed Banana (note 4)

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients into a small bowl. Film the bowl with plastic wrapping and refrigerate overnight.
  • The next day, thin out with more milk if desired or serve as is.

Serving

  • Serve plain or stir berries for older babies ready for chunky food.

Storage

  • Store for up to 2 days in a sealed jar in the fridge.

Notes

Note 1: To make a batch of oat flour blend 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oat for 30 seconds on high speed until flour forms. Keep in the pantry for up to 3 months in an airtight box.
Note 2: For smaller age use quick oats, it has a thin texture. For toddlers used to eat chunkier food you can use rolled oats.
Note 3: Any milk works including formula, breastmilk or plant-based milk.
Note 4: Any fruit puree or veggie puree works.
