Ingredients

  • 1 pound Fresh Strawberries hulled, washed
  • 1-3 tablespoons Maple Syrup skip for babies
  • 1-2 teaspoons Lime Juice

Optional

  • 1-2 leaves Fresh Mint
  • ΒΌ teaspoon Natural Strawberry Extract or vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Wash, hull fresh strawberries, and place in the bowl of a food processor or high-speed blender.
  • Add 1 teaspoon lime juice and 1 tablespoon sweetener - skip the sweetener for kids under 1 year old.
  • Blend/process at high speed until all the fruits are pulsed into a puree.
  • Taste the puree and adjust lime and sweetener if needed. You can also add fresh mint or vanilla extract for a boost of flavor. Blend 20 seconds after each addition you make.
  • Store 1 hour in the fridge to enhance flavors and thicken, or serve immediately for a quick snack.

Storage

  • Store the strawberry puree for up to 3 days in the fridge in sealed glass mason jars or freeze in an ice cube tray for later.
  • Thaw the day before in the fridge or use in smoothie recipes to thickened drinks.
